LGBT+ Catholics Westminster and Young Adults Group and at Pride 2019
Welcome to the LGBT Catholics Younger Adults Group (YAG). We are a community of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Catholics in our 20s, 30s, and 40s, based in the Archdiocese of Westminster, London.
Through our fellowship we seek to create an environment in which younger LGBT people feel supported and can embrace and deepen their faith, nurture their personal relationships with God and with each other, and engage in Christian witness in the Archdiocese of Westminster and in the wider society. We invite you to have a read through our website to find out more about our group. You can also download our leaflet here.
LGBT Catholics YAG is part of the wider LGBT Catholics Westminster Community. Click here to be redirected to their website.
Where We Meet
LGBT+ Catholics Westminster meet regularly as a community on the 2nd & 4th Sunday at the 17.30 Mass at the beautiful church of the Immaculate Conception (also known as Farm Street church), the central London parish church run by Jesuits.
Update: Despite public Masses being resumed on the 4th July, the dispensation from Sunday obligation remains in effect. Those with underlying health conditions and those over the age of seventy should consider not returning to church until further notice.
Please also note that face coverings will be mandatory in Places of Worship from Saturday 8th August 2020. All those who are attending churches must wear a face covering unless they are exempt from doing so. This is for the good of all who gather in the Church for Mass as it is an enclosed public space where there are people from differing households who they do not normally meet.
We are currently unable to meet after Mass for refreshments, but will update the website as soon as that changes.
